State of my garden earlier today

This the season of the burning bush -- and it is putting on a show.

And the ivy is turning too, though just the tips.

And also growing willy-nilly (that is a door).

Two hardy rosebushes, each with one bloom:

And last days for the hydrangea, though in their dried form the flowers are also very pretty.

  1. What a wonderful garden tour (and I didn't even have to pay). I love the green of the ivy against the cream color of the door and the soft, falling snow of the white hydrangeas.

  2. How amazing to have so much color already! Our burning bush hasn't turned at all. I don't think you are too much further north than we are but we are having very sunny warm weather. The hydrangeas are gorgeous and kudos to the roses that keep going!

  3. Oh, how lovely! I have given up on my garden for this year... maybe next year I'll be inspired to garden again. :)
