Golden glow of autumn

Golden glow of autumn

The sun creates a different kind of glow this time of year. Seems like the world is slighly golden-hued.

  1. Great set of a lovely autumn. The "heart" shot is both clever and beautiful. After looking at the first photo, though, I almost made an appointment to get my bifocals adjusted. :)

  2. Lovely autumn shots! Where did you take a hike to? Jen and I were down to Upper Canada and should have my shots up in a day or 2, lots of golden leaves ;-)

  3. LOL Andi. :-)

Scott -- all of these were taken at Jack Pine the other day with the exception of the heart/window (that was from the last canoe trip, sunrise through the car window) and the mountain bikers (that was taken a couple years ago during a hike in Gatineau near Meech Lake). It's been a lovely weekend so far weather-wise -- looking forward to seeing your photos!

  4. Beautiful colors. Love that first one of the leaves.
I've always wondered how you get the chickadees to come right to your finger.

  5. Such beautiful colors and the light is indeed amazing. It's the angle of the sun in autumn and spring.

That little chickadee is adorable. I'm jealous!

  6. LOL Kate -- it's bird-feeding central at this place. They'll land on your head too ... :D

It's a gorgeous time of year, isn't it Coneflower. :-)
