Overnight the world turned to colour

Spring

It seems like forever during the long, grey winter spent waiting for the return of new growth and then all of a sudden it's here and it's hard to keep up with it (both gardening and photographically).

Spring storyboard

I still have many new growth / Spring photos to sort through (all the new leaves and flowering trees and first flowers of May).

Ah, summer

But in the meantime ... Mother Nature hasn't slowed down. Things are growing and changing, and every day something new has emerged in the garden. It looks like summer now!

Vancouver Island. Possibly the greenest place in Canada.

Layers of green - green upon green upon green.

Every green thing has a green thing growing on it ... in it ... around it.

The most wonderful place in the world.
