In other news . . .

I'm participating in NaNoWriMo this year and have been writing furiously. At last count I have written 28,748 words, to my amazement. :D

The weather has turned cold lately -- water in the birdbath is frozen over now, and most of the leaves are down. We've had a bit of snow even (though nothing that stayed on the ground, thankfully!).
